Barrick Honored With Women to Watch Award From Illinois CPA Society
Peoria, Illinois — October 10, 2012 — CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), ranked as one of the nation’s top 10 certified public accounting and consulting firms, today announced Helen Barrick has been honored with a Women to Watch Award given by the Illinois CPA Society. Barrick is an award recipient under the Experienced Leaders category.
The Women to Watch Awards recognize women who have demonstrated, within the accounting profession, their ability to promote a work environment that provides opportunities for the successful integration of personal and professional life and the advancement of women to positions of leadership.
Experienced Leader nominees are evaluated on the following criteria:
- Mentoring other professionals
- Community service
- Major or unique contributions to the profession
- Leadership in workplace improvement
- Authorship of professional articles

Barrick is partner in CLA's Peoria office and specializes in audit, accounting, and consulting services for governmental entities. She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southern Illinois University and is a certified public accountant. Barrick is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
